November New City Arts and Crafts

You're invited to a special *Saturday* edition of New City Arts and Crafts, a monthly drop-in event for parents and kids at Welcome Gallery. This month's event will be held on Saturday, November 18 from 10-11AM featuring Grit coffee and snacks (for adults and kids), Tattly temporary tattoos (for adults and kids), and a craft exploring color using tissue paper inspired by Brittany Fan's Sound & Color.

10-10:15 AM: Get settled, and get coffee.

10:15-10:30 AM: Together, we'll do a fun tissue paper activity exploring color.

10:30-10:45 AM: Grab a snack, put on a temporary tattoo, and circle up for reading time while your craft dries.

We are providing a more structured activity on canvas for ages 3-7, and a coloring station for ages 2 and under (including babies).

  • Our structured activity includes canvases, so RSVP is required along with a $5 fee for supplies per participant ages 3-7.

  • Due to limited space, RSVP is also required for kids ages 2 and under, however no payment is required.

  • To RSVP, email lindsey@newcityarts.org with the number of adults and kids (including ages) attending.

New City Arts and Crafts is an opportunity for you to see the exhibit while meeting other families in the community and providing a creative outlet for kids, all over a morning cup of Grit coffee. Staff will be on site, but you are responsible for any guests or children you may bring.

New City Arts and Crafts is sponsored by Tattly and Grit Coffee.
