Exhibition Opening for Transient Places

Join New City Arts on December 1, 2017 from 5:00-7:30PM for an opening reception for Transient Places, a series of new paintings by Kirsten Hemrich. There will be an artist talk at 6:00PM.

This opening is part of Charlottesville’s First Friday Art Walk. The event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.

Welcome Gallery Exhibit Opening Receptions are presented by Northwestern Mutual and sponsored by Ting and Keevil & Keevil. This exhibition is supported by UVA Arts & the Office of the Provost & the Vice Provost for the Arts.

Located at 114 3rd St. NE, Welcome Gallery is downtown, storefront art space in Charlottesville, VA, run by New City Arts Initiative, a non-profit community arts organization. This same location houses NCAI staff offices and a studio space.
