Exhibition Opening for In the Homeland We've Never Seen

Join New City Arts on May 4, 2018 from 5:00-7:30PM for an opening reception for In the Homeland We've Never Seen, a solo exhibition by Murad Khan Mumtaz.There will be an artist talk at 6PM.

 
Artwork by Murad Khan Mumtaz. It is an imagined landscape on paper in the theme of sacred landcape with visual tradions, methods, and material intelligence of North Indian painting.

This opening is part of Charlottesville’s First Friday Art Walk. The event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.

Welcome Gallery Exhibit Opening Receptions are presented by Northwestern Mutual and sponsored by Ting and Keevil & Keevil.

Located at 114 3rd St. NE, Welcome Gallery is downtown, storefront art space in Charlottesville, VA, run by New City Arts Initiative, a non-profit community arts organization. This same location houses NCAI staff offices and a studio space.
