New City Arts and Crafts May 2018

You're invited to New City Arts and Crafts, our monthly drop-in event for parents and kids at Welcome Gallery. Join us on Friday, May 18 from 10am-11am. We'll have Grit coffee and snacks (for adults and kids), Tattly temporary tattoos (for adults and kids), and a craft inspired by Murad Khan Mumtaz's In the Homeland We've Never Seen.

A photograph of young visitors to the Welcome Gallery. Three children hold artworks they have made of multicolored geometric shapes.

10-10:15 AM: Get settled, get coffee, get a snack, and put on a temporary tattoo.

10:15-10:45 AM: Together, we'll do a fun craft activity.

10:45-11 AM: Circle up for reading time!

We can adapt this activity for ages 2-5, though younger children (including babies) are also welcome to attend.

New City Arts and Crafts is an opportunity for you to see the exhibit while meeting other families in the community and providing a creative outlet for kids, all over a morning cup of Grit coffee. Staff will be on site, but you are responsible for any guests or children you may bring.

RSVP is required due to limited space. Attendees are welcome to give a suggested donation of $5 per child at the door or online in advance.

To RSVP, fill out this short form to let us know you're coming!

New City Arts and Crafts is sponsored by Tattly and Grit Coffee
