Poetry Fellow

Kaymin Hester is a small town poet looking to spread her work like wildfire; her primary goal is to evoke emotion in her readers. Her poetry has been published in Zines + Things and three of her articles has been published by Deep South Magazine. She was a panelist for the Newfound Prose Prize, an intern at Deep South, and a selection editor at Millennial Pulp Literary Magazine. Her writing has placed or won in competitions such as: the Jefferson School Essay Contest, the 2021 Writer's Eye Contest, and the 2022 Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Contest.
