Annie grew up a shy, introverted, only child and now designs other worldly headwear, creatures, and sculptures to tell stories of deep, embodied, inner-truths for performers, collectors, and interior designers.

Her work is inspired from travel to study textiles in Indonesia, Japan, India, Uganda, Ghana, and Tanzania as a Watson fellow.

Her work was awarded the Best New Entrant Award at the World of Wearable Art in Wellington, New Zealand and featured at the Innovative Costumes of the 21st Century: The Next Generation exhibit at A.A Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum in Moscow, Russia. She loves to dance!
