Zoë Katherine Shelley

Poetry Fellow

Zoë Katherine Shelley is a photographer, poet, and a lover of all things creative. She is currently a sophomore at Renaissance High School in Charlottesville VA. Her creative works have been published in magazines, newspapers, and literary journals. Zoë is inspired by art that tries to answer questions of identity and self. She thinks surface-level stuff is boring. Perception inspires Zoë: people's perception of the world, of her. But also her perception of the world and of herself. Her poetry is often a reflection of the chaos going on inside and outside of her. Zoë's art is her attempt to try take the chaos and maybe, just maybe, make order out of it.
