From December 6-20, 2019, New City Arts presents the New City Artist Exchange at Welcome Gallery, featuring original works by Charlottesville artists Angela Gleeson, Amdane Sanda, Julia Loman, Ken Horne, Kori Price, Lauren Goans, Rebekah Wostrel, Sam Dabney, Sean Rubin, Somé Louis, and Steve Haske. All proceeds from the sales of the Exchange work will benefit Housing2Home.

Pottery, photography, drawings, paintings, and works on paper will be on exhibit at Welcome Gallery. The exhibit includes original work from the Artist Exchange, along with additional works from participating artists.

The New City Artist Exchange is an annual, artist-led New City Arts program that brings together local artists to create and exchange a unique set of artworks with one another. Led by Mara Sprafkin, New City Arts, and Paul Handler, the New City Artist Exchange builds community by increasing awareness of Charlottesville art among the local artist community and facilitating a network of artist peers.
