Painting with Wool: The Color of Joy Weekend Workshop

Join us for a needle-felting workshop with New City Artist Fellow, Tobiah Mundt, on Saturday, June 26 at 11:00AM. Through short, guided meditations, students will create a wool painting using 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional needle felting techniques.

Tobiah Mundt, a Black woman with shoulder-length curly brown hair is seated at her workstation and looking down at her hands, in motion felting wool with a needle. In the foreground, there are several white wool felted sculptures of ambiguous shapes.

Registration is required for this free, in-person event at Welcome Gallery. Sign up here. Space is limited to 8 participants. Masks are required to be worn during the workshop. No experience is required. This is the second workshop Tobiah is hosting at Welcome Gallery, since her Friday night workshop is full.
