Exhibition Opening for “Razed To Be Born Again”

Join us for an exhibition opening on February 3, 2023 from 5:00-7:30PM for Razed To Be Born Again, an installation by Jay Simple. An artist talk and performance will take place from 7:30-8PM.

This opening is part of Charlottesville’s First Friday Art Walk. The event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. Note: Careful adult supervision is required for safe viewing as this exhibit contains freestanding sculpture within reach of young children.

Located at 114 3rd St. NE, Welcome Gallery is downtown, storefront art space in Charlottesville, VA, run by New City Arts Initiative, a non-profit community arts organization. This same location houses NCAI staff offices and a studio space.
