Expressing Identity: Works from Summer Studio at The Fralin

Join us for a First Friday opening reception on August 6 from 5:00-7:30PM for The Fralin Museum of Art’s Expressing Identity: Works from Summer Studio at The Fralin, featuring works by Zaharra Colla, Katherine Flores, Bryan Guzman, Elise Hatschbach, Katarina Love, Raquel Monroe, Jane Ormsby, Jasmine Gonzalez Rollins, Olivia Trager, Christy Wang, and Molly Woodfin created over the last 6 weeks in The Fralin's new teen studio program centered on drawing strength from identity.

This opening is part of Charlottesville’s First Friday Art Walk. The event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.

COVID-19 Visitor Policy: In order to accommodate families with kids under the age of 12 who are not yet eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine, and in accordance with the most recent CDC guidance, masks are required at all times during The Fralin's exhibition at Welcome Gallery in August.

This exhibition is presented by The Fralin Museum of Art.

Located at 114 3rd St. NE, Welcome Gallery is downtown, storefront art space in Charlottesville, VA, run by New City Arts Initiative, a non-profit community arts organization. This same location houses NCAI staff offices and a studio space.
