CANCELED: Co-Working at Welcome | March 2020

UPDATE: With the health and safety of our community in mind, we've made the decision to close Welcome Gallery and cancel New City Arts events through March 31. Staff are still working (from home), so feel free to email us if you have questions, need more puns, or just want to say hi.

An image of the Welcome Gallery door taken from outside. There is a sandwich board outside of the gallery and a potted plant resting on the red-bricked street.

You're invited to join us on March 18 and make Welcome Gallery your office for the day.

We'll be open for co-working from 9AM-5PM and will provide coffee, great internet (Thanks, Ting!), tables and chairs, plenty of plugs for laptops, and a microwave for your lunch (no shellfish, please). Stay for the whole day or a couple of hours and take in Matt Eich's exhibit, Sin & Salvation in Baptist Town, while you work.

Please note, this is an open and shared space. It will be a great place to read, write, or work on a project quietly—but it probably isn't the best place for a conference call.

This event is supported by an Enriching Communities grant from the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation and The FUNd at CACF. It is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.

Located at 114 3rd St. NE, Welcome Gallery is downtown, storefront art space in Charlottesville, VA, run by New City Arts Initiative, a non-profit community arts organization. This same location houses NCAI staff offices and a studio space.
