Exhibition opening for huddle

huddle, an exhibition of works on empathy, action, and respect by Brielle DuFlon opens on October 2, 2020, with New City Arts at Welcome Gallery.

A textile collage sculpture by Brielle DuFlon. Scraps of pink, white, green, and purple lace are assembled together abstractedly on a canvas. Layers of lace are folded over each other creating different volumes of texture throughout the artwork.

The exhibition is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. Welcome Gallery is now open by appointment only. Schedule an in-person appointment to see the exhibit: Schedule Appointment

Located at 114 3rd St. NE, Welcome Gallery is downtown, storefront art space in Charlottesville, VA, run by New City Arts Initiative, a non-profit community arts organization. This same location houses NCAI staff offices and a studio space.
