Somé Louis is a Charlottesville-based conceptual artist working in a variety of media including drawing, print, collage, painting, writing, and installation. Her current work investigates concepts of self evaluation, ritual, habit, and memory. Her creative practice is most frequently prompted by an interest in mundane, everyday observations and occurrences.
