Ruby Zielinski

Ruby Zielinski (she/her) is an artist currently practicing as a landscape architect. Her journey began by completing a BFA in Graphic Design from the Memphis College of Art. After art school, she worked as a professional designer for many years, collaborating with local design firms, community development non-profits, and participating in design conferences and art events. Ruby was exposed to landscape architecture while working on designing and re-imagining the Memphis Riverfront with the Memphis River Parks Partnership. This work led her to pursue a Master's in Landscape Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture in London, where she graduated at the end of 2023. Today, Ruby manages the Natural Infrastructure Lab and teaches in the Landscape Architecture Department at UVA.
