Audrey Parks

Among other unmentionable things, Audrey Parks (she/her) is a poet, DJ, dogsitter, vegetable seller, and the assistant manager and buyer at New Dominion Bookshop in Charlottesville. She is a graduate of the Area Program in Poetry Writing at the University of Virginia, where she also studied Arabic Language and Literature. She is online @as_always_audrey.

During her Fellowship, Audrey will ask: “What’s inside of me? What am I inside of? What’s happening?” Using psychogeography and somatic poetry rituals, Audrey Parks will craft poems around the locus of “soft spot.”
