Aidyn Mancenido
Artist Fellow, Exhibiting Artist
Aidyn Mancenido is an artist, scholar and activist. She relies on a range of mediums to probe the complexities and nuances of her experiences, and to support her healing, intellectual and community work. Wielding breath, movement and voice through performance, she explores the curatorial edges of wholeness and justice. Aidyn received her MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago, and her PhD in cultural anthropology from the University of Virginia. She currently teaches and consults in the areas of artistic activism, gender, sexuality, race, and migration.
