Chloe Clayborne (b. 2002) is an interdisciplinary artist from Falls Church, Virginia, who works through painting and sculpture to both process and question the boundaries and definition of self. Play, pattern, and iteration often serve as elements allowing contendable and sustainable ways of contemplating mortality and existential unknowing. She is currently residing in Charlottesville, Virginia as an Aunspaugh Fellow with the University of Virginia, where she recently received her BA in Studio Art. She has exhibited work in University of Virginia’s Ruffin Gallery, New City Arts Initiative’s Welcome Gallery in Charlottesville, Virginia, and Bond Millen Gallery in Richmond, Virginia.
