Tobiah Mundt is a multimedia artist from Houston, Texas. She studied Architecture at Howard University in Washington, DC and left the field of Architecture for a full time art practice. She currently resides in Charlottesville, VA where she is a founding member of the Charlottesville Black Arts Collective, a Resident Artist at McGuffey Art Center, and teaches for the Virginia Governor’s School for the Arts.

Tobiah was introduced to New City Arts through its residency program and has since has been a New City Arts Initiative Fellow, has participated in the Artist Exchange, presented at SOUP and has shown her work in solo shows and group shows at the Welcome Gallery.

She loves her family and long walks in the park.
