Sophie Jones is a rising fourth-year student at the University of Virginia studying Art History and East Asian Studies. Aside from learning about art in the classroom, she also loves to make art herself, whether that be crocheting or playing the flute. At New City Arts, Sophie is most looking forward to learning about how to uplift the voices and visions of contemporary artists through curatorial practices. She is particularly excited to engage with Charlottesville's art community and the creative minds that make it unique.
