From January 8-February 17, 2027 New City Arts will present an installation by Molly Joyce.
The work, Molly shares, “features resonances of disability-centric physical and digital spaces, such as hallways, ramps, elevators, Zoom hangouts, access checks, and more. Through recording and producing musical work based on the resonances of these spaces, I aim to highlight aural qualities of spaces built for and by disabled people. The resultant work will consist of a new installation reflecting these resonances, featured visually through video analog realizers, ASL music interpretation, and sound description, aurally through speakers, and tactically through a collaboration with VibraFusion Lab.”
