New City Arts presents “BUSHES/HILLS,” a multi-media installation involving prints, drawings, and video by Hannah Barefoot at The WVTF and Radio IQ Studio Gallery and the empty storefront, adjacent to WVTF.

Exhibition Statement (provided by the artist)

Hannah's new work includes prints and videos exploring the implication of a human's presence in the landscape. Hannah is examining the relationship between observing and inhabiting the landscape alongside US 29.

In the WVTF and Radio IQ Studio Gallery, Hannah will exhibit drawings and prints. In the adjacent space to WVTF, the artist will exhibit video in a temporary installation.

About the Artist (provided by the artist)

Hannah Barefoot is a fifth year Aunspaugh Fellow at the University of Virginia. In Charlottesville, the artist has previously exhibited at The Shuckster, The Garage, and The Ruffin Gallery at UVA.
