Exhibition Statement (provided by the artist)

Stations is a new series of collages that responds to archaeological remnants encountered in the stark landscape of rural Ireland. By translating the imagery of inscribed stone fragments into anthropomorphic forms, these works meditate on traces left behind by monks, pilgrims and other wayfarers who have passed through remote places.
