Exhibition Opening for Brotando

Join New City Arts at Welcome Gallery for an exhibition opening on February 1, 2019, from 5:00-7:30PM for Brotando, an exhibition of paintings, embroideries, and sculptures inspired by the stories of Latina women by Karina A. Monroy. Karina is the Fall 2018 New City Arts Artist-in-Residence. There will be an artist talk at 6:00PM.

This opening is part of Charlottesville’s First Friday Art Walk. The event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.

Located at 114 3rd St. NE, Welcome Gallery is downtown, storefront art space in Charlottesville, VA, run by New City Arts Initiative, a non-profit community arts organization. This same location houses NCAI staff offices and a studio space.
