Exhibition Opening for “Around the Table: Political play, agency, gamification, and other things we can learn from board games”

Join us for an exhibition opening on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 5:00-7:30PM for Around the Table: Political play, agency, gamification, and other things we can learn from board games, an exhibit curated by Chandler Jennings. An artist talk will be held at 6PM.

 
 

Light snacks, wine, and seltzer will be available. The event is free and open to the public, all ages are welcome.

This exhibition is the culmination of a project of the New City Arts Research Residency Program. The New City Arts Spring Residency was supported by the Anne and Gene Worrell Foundation.

 
 

Located at 114 3rd St. NE, Welcome Gallery is downtown, storefront art space in Charlottesville, VA, run by New City Arts Initiative, a non-profit community arts organization. This same location houses NCAI staff offices and a studio space.
