The Maker's Series: The Art of Production
Please join us on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 7-9PM in Meade Hall (located at Christ Episcopal Church, on the corner of 2nd St. and Jefferson St. NW across from McGuffey Park) for the Makers Series as we explore the process of production. Kho Wong (assistant producer on films such as Life of Pi and The Strangers), Colin Killalea (music producer at White Star Sound recording studio) and Tosha Grantham (curator at Second Street Gallery) will share their experiences of building landscapes, soundscapes and spaces.
Art, Food, and Community: 2014 Forum
On March 6-8, 2014, artists, professors, curators, directors, chefs, writers, farmers, and foodies presented on a wide range of topics -- Community Supported Art models, land-use art, food-based sculpture, art and food-oriented social engagement, and everything in-between.
