Join New City Arts at the WVTF & Radio IQ Studio Gallery on January 6, 2012, from 5:00-7:00 PM for an opening reception for Peacework, new paintings by Jane Skafte and art quilts by Jill Jenson.

A collaged watercolor and gouache painting entiteld "Magpies after Audubon." Several multicolored layers and textures of materials in two separate but adjacent canvases host images of magpies mid-flight.

This opening is part of Charlottesville’s First Friday Art Walk. The event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.
