Exhibition Opening for Black Locust of My Heart

Join New City Arts at the WVTF & Radio IQ Studio Gallery on May 4, 2012, from 5:00-7:00 PM for an opening reception for Black Locust of My Heart, new works on paper by Charlottesville artist Kendall Cox.

A gouche and ink-painting entitled "Winged field oak." It is an abstract painting of a host of dark-painted birds among leafless branches superimposed with contrasting green colors.

This opening is part of Charlottesville’s First Friday Art Walk. The event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.
