October New City Arts and Crafts

You're invited to New City Arts and Crafts, a monthly drop-in event for parents and kids at Welcome Gallery. This month's event will be held on Wednesday, October 25 from 10am-11am featuring Grit coffee and snacks (for adults and kids), Tattly temporary tattoos (for adults and kids), and a collage craft inspired by Lisa Ryan's Improbable Figures.

10-10:15 AM: Get settled, get coffee, get a snack, and put on a temporary tattoo.

10:15-10:45 AM: Together, we'll do a fun collage activity.

10:45-11 AM: Circle up for reading time!

We can adapt this activity for ages 2-5, though younger children (including babies) are also welcome to attend. New City Arts and Crafts is an opportunity for you to see the exhibit while meeting other families in the community and providing a creative outlet for kids, all over a morning cup of Grit coffee. Staff will be on site, but you are responsible for any guests or children you may bring.

The event is free, but RSVP is required due to limited space. Attendees are welcome to give a suggested donation of $5-$10 at the door or online in advance. To RSVP, email lindsey@newcityarts.org with the number of adults and kids attending.

New City Arts and Crafts is sponsored by Tattly and Grit Coffee.
