New City Hearts and Crafts

You're invited to New City Hearts and Crafts, a special Valentine's Day edition of our monthly drop-in event for parents and kids at Welcome Gallery. This month's event will be held on Wednesday, February 14 from 10am-11am featuring Grit coffee and snacks (for adults and kids) and Tattly temporary tattoos (for adults and kids). Together, we'll make abstract valentines inspired by VM Fisk's What Everything is Made Of.

10-10:15 AM: Get settled, get coffee, get a snack, and put on a temporary tattoo.

10:15-10:45 AM: Together, we'll make abstract valentines for you to take to your friends and family!

10:45-11 AM: Circle up for reading time

We can adapt this activity for ages 2-5, though younger children (including babies) are also welcome to attend.

New City Arts and Crafts is an opportunity for you to see the exhibit while meeting other families in the community and providing a creative outlet for kids, all over a morning cup of Grit coffee. Staff will be on site, but you are responsible for any guests or children you may bring.

RSVP is required due to limited space. A $5 suggested donation is suggested at the door or online in advance. To RSVP, email lindsey@newcityarts.org with the number of adults and kids attending.

New City Arts and Crafts is sponsored by Tattly and Grit Coffee.
