May New City Arts and Crafts

You're invited to New City Arts and Crafts, a monthly drop-in event for parents and kids at Welcome Gallery. This month's event will be held on Wednesday, May 24 from 10am-11am featuring Grit coffee and snacks (for adults and kids), Tattly temporary tattoos (for adults and kids), and artwork by local artists Lily Erb and Annie Dunckel

We'll provide optional arts activities for kids, including a guided activity for ages 3-5 led by Lily Erb. This exhibit features artwork on the floor, so we are going to host New City Arts and Crafts outside the gallery (or in the office, if it rains).

New City Arts and Crafts is an opportunity for you to see the exhibit while meeting other families in the community and providing a creative outlet for kids, all over a morning cup of Grit coffee. Staff will be on site, but you are responsible for any guests or children you may bring.

The event is free, but RSVP is required due to limited space. Attendees are welcome to give a suggested donation of $5-$10 at the door or online in advance. To RSVP, email elly@newcityarts.org with the number of adults and kids attending.

New City Arts and Crafts is made possible through an Enriching Communities grant from the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation and is sponsored by Tattly and Grit Coffee.
