Lowland Hum: Album Release Concert
Lowland Hum, recent transplants to Charlottesville, will perform songs from their sophomore full-length release at The Haven on April 25, 2015. Daniel and Lauren Goans, of Lowland Hum, are artists in residence with New City Arts at The Haven this year.
As usual, their performance will be accompanied by an illuminated installation and hand-bound lyric books designed by Lauren. Included in their backing band are Sam Bush and Guion Pratt of Charlottesville bands The Hill and Wood and Nettles. Also on the bill is local musician, Isaac Wardell, playing his own original material and backed by C-ville favorites, Devon Sproule, Daniel Sender, and Paul Zach.
Ticket price ($12 in advance, $15 at the door) includes a download of Lowland Hum’s new album and an original broadside by New City Artists in Residence, Sean Rubin and Amanda Wagstaff. Sponsored by Beer Run, Albemarle Baking Company, New City Arts, and The Haven, tickets are available for purchase online in advance at http://bit.ly/1AxfLNF. All ticket sales are final.
