We're excited to announce a fall Kinfolk dinner in Charlottesville, hosted by Mallory Joyce Design, to benefit the New City Arts Initiative.

Kinfolk Magazine October dinner gatherings are being held in honor of The Kinfolk Table cookbook release, and will be a global celebration of all that the cookbook represents: widespread and local community, timeworn recipes, and the simple joy of sharing food with friends and family.

Charlottesville's host, Mallory Joyce of Mallory Joyce Design, invites you to a family farm right outside of Charlottesville for this Kinfolk gathering on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 5-8 PM. Tickets are limited and for sale on the Kinfolk website for $50 each. Gay Beery of A Pimento Catering is our featured chef. Attendees are encouraged to bring a favorite recipe card (though not the actual dish) from home to add to a recipe exchange that each attendee will draw from at the end of the evening. The Kinfolk Table cookbooks will be sold separately at the event.

As a partner of the 2014 New City Arts Forum (to be held on March 6-8, 2014 in Charlottesville — details forthcoming), Kinfolk Magazine has dedicated the proceeds of this dinner to benefit the New City Arts Initiative.
