Exhibition Opening for TRIO

Join New City Arts on June 1, 2018 from 5:00-7:30PM for an opening reception for TRIO, an exhibit of new paintings, drawings, and works on paper by Abby Kasonik. There will be an artist talk at 6PM.

 
Artwork by Abby Kasonik. It is an abstract landscape painting with watercolor-like texture. There appears to be a darkened blue-black section of a road or body of water making a horizon against rolling turquoise and light green spots.

This opening is part of Charlottesville’s First Friday Art Walk. The event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.

This month-long exhibition is supported by The FUNd at CACF. Welcome Gallery Exhibit Opening Receptions are presented by Northwestern Mutual and sponsored by Ting, Keevil & Keevil, and Nick Watson.

Located at 114 3rd St. NE, Welcome Gallery is downtown, storefront art space in Charlottesville, VA, run by New City Arts Initiative, a non-profit community arts organization. This same location houses NCAI staff offices and a studio space.
