Joe Vena has been a habitual beast builder and enthusiastic illustrator of creatures, real and imagined, for roughly 40 years. He works as Creative Director at Ix Art Park and lives in Charlottesville with his favorite creatures, wife Lucy and sons, Jack and Henry.
