Evan Neuhaus Mooney (b. 1983, Houston, TX) is an American artist living and working in Charlottesville, Virginia. Evan has her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia (2006, Charlottesville, VA) and her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College (2010, New York, NY). Her studies at UVA gave her a strong background in the arts, specifically in Art History, Architectural History and Studio Art. Her graduate studies and work with children in the classroom, and now as a mother, have allowed Evan to broaden her thinking and understanding on the importance of curiosity, connection, observation, and play.
