As Communications & Community Programs ManagerLindsey Leahy (she/her) leads New City Arts communications and marketing and oversees community programs including New City Arts’ creative placemaking partnership with The Haven (Housing2Home), promoting housing stability through creative interventions; Charlottesville SOUP; and the Poetry of Power Workshop.

Before joining the New City Arts staff, Lindsey was a marketing and communications manager for a Charlottesville-based sustainable foods startup. Lindsey has also worked as a Program Assistant for Breakthrough Urban Ministries in Chicago’s East Garfield Park. She holds a BA in Religion from Mary Baldwin College.  

In her free time, she’s likely to be found writing, baking, or walking in the woods with her husband, Jordan, and children, Ruby and Hazel.
