In 2010, New City Arts and The Haven hosted our first art auction featuring work by Charlottesville area artists. At the time, New City Arts was located on the 2nd floor of The Haven, and this event supported Haven programming. The auction became a beloved, annual community fundraiser to support our collaborative residency program and eventually, Housing2Home.

Hosted in September, this event now includes a live and silent auction with work by over 45 Charlottesville area artists who can opt in to keep up to 50% of the proceeds from artwork sales.
