Exhibition Statement (provided by the artists)

A father and four-year-old-son duo — Mike and Gray Ryan — exhibit a large, plywood map, inspired by a quote by Henry Miller: "One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things." This map, along with vintage travel posters turned fantastical, a paper-cut compass, and a suitcase full of items close-to-home might inspire you to go places. Or this work might just encourage some slight nostalgia for places you have been, then make you happy to be home.
