Exhibition Statement (provided by the artist)

Joanna Mullen first discovered collage as a student at Sweet Briar College more than 15 years ago. Her work combines collage and song. Joanna enjoys reading about herself in the third person, catching the bus on time, listening to her mom go on and on about Sue Grafton novels, and binge-watching Murder, She Wrote.
