You're invited to New City Arts and Crafts, our monthly drop-in event for parents and kids at Welcome Gallery. Join us on Thursday, February 14 from 10am-11am. Together, we'll have Grit coffee and snacks, put on Tattly temporary tattoos (for adults and kids), take in artwork made by Karina A. Monroy, and make plant-inspired valentines. This event is now at capacity.
We can adapt this activity for ages 2-7, though younger children (including babies) are also welcome to attend. Questions? Email Lindsey at lindsey@newcityarts.org
10-10:15 AM: Get settled, grab a snack, get coffee, and put on a temporary tattoo
10:15-10:30 AM: Together, we'll make plant valentines inspired by Karina A. Monroy's exhibit.
10:30-10:45 AM: Circle up for reading time.
Space is limited and an RSVP is required along with a $5 suggested donation for supplies per participant. This event is now full.

Located at 114 3rd St. NE, Welcome Gallery is downtown, storefront art space in Charlottesville, VA, run by New City Arts Initiative, a non-profit community arts organization. This same location houses NCAI staff offices and a studio space.
