Join New City Arts Initiative and the Charlottesville Sacred Harp Singers for a collaborative sing in the Haven Sanctuary on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 6:30-8 PM.

Participants of Shape Note singing are circled around members of Sacred Harp Singers at the Haven. A woman in a gray blazer holds a musical book and holds out a hand conducting community members in song.

Learn about the rich tradition of SHAPE NOTE SINGING and participate in a sing with Sacred Harp singers and community members.

There will be light refreshments and sheet music will be provided. No experience necessary! The event is free and open to the public.
