Exhibition Opening for The Surrender Series

Join New City Arts at the WVTF & Radio IQ Studio Gallery on January 7, 2011, from 5:00-7:00PM for an opening reception for The Surrender Series, new works on paper, along with a few flags, by Charlottesville artist Rachel Callahan.

 
"Lesson 27," a lithograph with pencil collage and thread. A grid of several square parchment pieces are spaced evenly apart, they are blotted with a large purple ink spot at the center below scripted text. Some are sewn together with yellowed thread.
