New City Arts at CitySpace
New City Arts is having an exhibit of its own at CitySpace during First Fridays on Friday, May 3, 2013.
Our exhibit will feature photographs and artwork from the various programs and events that we've hosted over the past few years. Heard of concerts, workshops, artist talks, conferences, gatherings or exhibits that we've hosted but haven't had a chance to attend one? Come mingle and take a peek at what we're doing (and what we have planned for the future).
Some artwork will be for sale, and raffle tickets will be available for purchase for $10 to benefit New City Arts. Raffle prizes will include two tickets to the upcoming Haven Acoustic Showcase, artwork by Elizabeth Kleberg, and more.
CitySpace is located at 100 5th St NE, Charlottesville, VA 22902 on the Downtown Mall. Light refreshments will be served. Our First Friday exhibit will be open from 5:30-7 PM on Friday, May 3. The CitySpace Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
We will still host our regular First Fridays gallery opening at the WVTF and Radio IQ Studio Gallery from 5 - 7 PM, located at 216 W. Water St. Our featured May artist is Josef Beery.
