New City Arts invites to the Charlottesville community to a DOWNTOWN MOVING PARADE from 10–11:30 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2015, to help move our organization from our office at The Haven our new location a few blocks away at 114 3rd St. NE.

Volunteers will receive pinwheels for the parade and are invited (… and encouraged) to wear their favorite hats. New City Arts owns very few belongings, so we don’t anticipate the move to be too rigorous.

The walk from The Haven to our new location only includes a few blocks. Since the parade might be shorter than 1.5 hours, all parade participants are encouraged to meet at The Haven at 10:00 AM on August 22.
