Nancy Bass
Exhibiting Artist
For thirty-five years, Nancy Bass lived and worked on a farm in Albemarle County, Virginia where she raised a herd of cattle with her husband. Bass’s most recent work, her series At the Museum, builds on her interest in juxtaposing realism and abstraction and in transgressing the human/animal divide. Bass’s recent awards include a First Place from The Artist’s Magazine 37th Annual Competition and a Jurors Award in the Art2Life International Competition.
