Golara Haghtalab is a DMV based artist and the author of “Immigrant: Courage Required,” a memoir that explores the impact of change and adaptation on a courageous life. As part of her creative engagements, Golara has facilitated several community art workshops and given speeches at the Creative Mornings and local design gatherings. Generally, She is interested in experimental art where innovation and fresh thinking is encouraged. Golara holds a Bachelor’s degree in both chemistry and studio arts from University of Virginia and a Master’s in organization development from American University.
