Making the language of image his own, Duncan graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009 with a BFA from the Department of Communication Arts, and attended the Illustration Academy that summer.
Duncan continues to explore Richmond Virginia, responding to and interpreting the world and culture around him visually as a freelance illustrator. He marries his passion for draftsmanship with expression, printmaking with graphic and digital, as well as his love of tradition and history with his optimism of the modern. He actively peruses opportunities to partner with others to tell diverse stories both new and old through the visual with whimsy and impact.
