Charlottesville-area artists are invited to submit entries for a juried art exhibit anchored by Charlottesville artist Ashon Crawley’s I will fear no evil series (image above courtesy of the artist). Fear No Evil asks, What does the artist say to fear? What is the relation between courage and creativity? Emerging artists exploring courage and creativity over fear, shame, guilt, stigma, and despair are encouraged to apply.

Together, we'll Grit coffee, have snacks, put on Tattly temporary tattoos (for adults and kids), take in artwork made by Phuong Duyen Nguyen, and make valentines

Join us for an exhibition opening on February 7, 2020, from 5:00-7:30PM for Constructions, an exhibition of sculpture and works on paper by Phuong Duyen Nguyen. Phuong is the current New City Artist-in-Residence.

Pollon Art, Agency, and Mimili Maku Arts present Shadow Sites, featuring new works from multi-disciplinary artists Steaphan Paton (Gunai/Monero) and Robert Fielding (Western Aranda/Yankunytjatjara). This exhibition is in partnership with New City Arts and on view at Welcome Gallery from January 24-30, 2020.
