New City Arts presents “We dream of the house we were born in,” new paintings and an artist’s book by Roger Williams in March at The WVTF and Radio IQ Studio Gallery.
Roger Williams is the Creative Coordinator for the Housing2Home project at The Haven and New City Arts. He is a bookbinder by training, with an MA in book conservation. He lives in Charlottesville with his wife, Victoria. Roger’s paintings and book explore the idea of ‘home’ and ‘home-making,’ considering both the outward, environmental elements and internal conceptions of the theme.
Along with NPR, WVTF, and Radio IQ, join us for an exhibit opening from 5-7 PM on Friday, March 4th. Presented by New City Arts, our exhibit opening is sponsored by Timbercreek Market in Charlottesville with cheese provided by Flora Artisanal Cheese and Veritas Vineyard and Winery. The WVTF and Radio IQ Studio Gallery is located at 216 W. Water Street.
